1.Try The Longest Ropeway In The World
In 2010, Armenia launched a 5.7-kilometer (3.5-mile) cable car line over a stunning gorge to the Tatev monastery.
This journey makes the visitors enjoy a safe and majestic tour over the spectacular Vorotan River Gorge. The ropeway travels at a speed of about 37 km (23 mi) per hour, and a one-way journey takes about 10 minutes.
At its highest point over the gorge, the car travels 320 m (1,050 ft) above ground level. This might sound scary, but when you’re inside, you will barely have time to realize you’re that high above the ground. The cabins are large enough that can take up to 25 passengers, so you can enjoy your trip with your friends and family.
2. Taste The Ancient Cuisine
Armenian cuisine is as ancient as its history, as the land it is standing on. Armenian culinary traditions are over 2000 years old. Meat, fruits, vegetables, sweets: you can find various dishes on a traditional Armenian menu.
There are several must taste Armenian dishes, such as Dolma, Ghapama, Khorovats, Harissa, Manti, Sujoukh, Basturma, Lavash the tinny bread and of course some desserts: Gata, Bakhlava, sweet Sujoukh.

4. Starwatching at the Byurakan Observatory
Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory is located on the picturesque southern slope of the mountain Aragatz. At the observatory five observational instruments are installed the larger ones being 2.6 m Cassegrain telescope and 1m Schmidt telescope. Scientific researches of the observatory are related mainly with the instability phenomena taking place in the Universe.
Besides the scientific research the observatory fulfils an informative activity as well organizing excursions and lectures for amateurs.

As a country famous for its brandy and cognac, Armenia remains in a leading position in the international market.
Armenia is a country of century-old tradition of winemaking․ Armenian wines provide something for every occasion and in every form, from delicate whites to robust reds to wonderful dry or sweet sparkling wines, and from simple table wines to some of the most expensive and sought.
Armenian brandy is renowned worldwide (winner of several awards), and was considered by the late British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, as his favorite. The generous sun of the Ararat Valley, fertile land, and the quality of water gives the Armenian brandy its gold color and extraordinary taste.
Armenia also gives a good choice of Beer. The most popular Armenian beers are Kotayk and Kilikia. Recently, there are more microbreweries opening around Yerevan that serve draft beer.

Armenia is an open air, so there is a huge amount of historical monuments, that you need to see at least once in your life.
Presently there are three world heritage sites listed by UNESCO in Armenia, and each of Armenia’s three UNESCO World Heritage sites hold significant religious and historical significance. Two of these sites are inscribed based on cultural criteria, and only one meets both cultural and natural criteria. Besides the three, there are four others on the tentative list.
So you have a lot to see and feel in Armenia.
