Villa Delenda was originally built in 1906 as a private residence for Mnatsakanyan brothers. A lot of the original building architecture has been restored and retained during expansion and renovation. The building has its own unique character, charm and style, harmoniously combining classical Armenian decor with the elegance and comfort of a truly gracious residence. It is a masterpiece that bridges the centuries.
Villa Delenda is run by "Family Care" Foundation, and the aim is mainly for the development of projects and tourism in different regions of Armenia and Nagorno Karabagh.
Income is also used to support "Veratsnund" Art School which started soon after the disastrous earthquake in December 1988, with the hope of providing children and adolescents with an opportunity to develop creative and cultural skills in a warm and caring environment, otherwise damaged by poverty and natural disaster. The craft is also displayed and sold in Ceramics Showroom at Villa Delenda.
